Indian Masala Sandwich

This preparation is assumed for the intake of 2 persons. For preparation of this, please ensure that you have the following in your stores..

Onions - 2 Nos.

carrot - 1 No.
tomato - 2 Nos.
ginger - 1 small piece (if it is not available in your kitchen, leave it)
salt - 1 tea spoon
lemon - 1 no.
garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon (if you want it to be too spicey, you can make it into 2 tea spoons)

Cut the onions and tomatoes into small piece with the help of knife and grind the carrot into small pieces as shown in the photo. Cut the ginger into small tiny parts.

Heat the pan at a lower heat radiance and ensure that there are no water in the pan. After initial heat of 1 minute, pour 2 spoons of ghee and have that boil for about 1 minute. Upon seeing little smoke emanating from the pan, have the cut onions placed on to the pan. Add  1 tea spoon of garam masala powder and along with it, add the ginger and salt of 1 tea spoon. Mix all these 3 ingredients till such time the onions become golden in color. This will take about 3 minute of cooking. Now add carrot that was grinned by you and add this on the fried pan. Mix it  till such time the carrot merges with the other 3 ingredients. Now add the chopped tomatoes and frying the same for it settle down, now close the pan with a plate and allow it to be cooked for some time.


Let us now to go to our Micro Woven. Ensure that you clean the Micro woven with some clean tissues. Switch on the Micro Owen and allow in a grind mode for about 2 minutes.

Let us now utilize our 2 minutes that we have - go back to your fry pan, switch off the electric stove or the gas that you have, pour this in a medium cup in spread manner. Take the lemon and chop in into 2. Pour the juice of the lemon into the medium cup and ensure that you mix everything well. Place the masala mix on top of the bread (as shown in the pic) and close it with another bread. Do that for 3 sets of breads.  Place it on the Micro woven in the grind mode and heat it for 5 minutes.

Once this is ready serve it in a plate with tomato sauce and some hot tea. Your India Masala Sandwich is ready. It also has some nutritious value.
